The Big Bright Shiny

The media and political parties have no intention of informing you or engaging with you. They are doing nothing but distracting us, indoctrinating and dividing us.

It’s all about emotional response.

Trump-Ukraine Transcript

Most people have not read the transcript being used as a rationale for impeachment, nor do they really intend to read it.

This is not a Mueller report. This is roughly two pages long.

This affects what our government defines as “democracy”. It affects your rights. It affects foreign relations. What affects our country affects the world, for better or worse.

In this video, I go through the key parts of the transcript. Including the parts corporate media have not reported on.

YouTube Channel Reboot

I rebooted my YouTube channel today. First video I have done in over a year, just been too busy for videos. Things are a bit more stable now, so I thought this was a good time to get back to it.

The reboot has a new look. Trying to make the videos more professional. More changes will be coming in the near future but so far I am using a digital background and a full studio lighting setup. I also have a better microphone. I have a better camera on order, to go full HD. This camera isn’t bad but I may as well go all in.

From this point on, I will be alternating between written articles and videos. I will not be duplicating articles and videos as I did before. Though I may pick up on a topic started in writing and expand further in video. So be sure to follow both. I will post links to new videos here.

Hope you’ll be following!

Facebook Buys Startup Developing Device To Read your Nerve Impulses.. Very Bad

Facebook just spent a very large sum of money buying a startup which will read your peripheral nerve impulses and turn them into physical actions via wireless interface.

Now I am truly excited about this at one level. In fact multiple levels. Though I know what negatives to expect.

This will ultimately give mobility to those with paralysis at some level, possibly to those with missing limbs. It will also have tremendous use in hazardous occupations such as nuclear engineers and bomb squads.

This will absolutely gather and collect information which will be sent back to Facebook. Information which gives even greater understanding of the nervous system, which will be both good and very bad.

The good is that it will give information which helps advance neuroscience. It may allow for the construction of an actual artificial nervous system or parts of one. Which may give or restore sensation, sight and mobility to patients with neurological damage or hereditary disorders.

The bad is that it can allow for the development of an artificial nervous system. Coupled with AI, this becomes a potential for extremely deadly autonomous weapons. In other words, actual androids. Whom do you think would pay the most money to develop the first androids? The military. For what purpose? To kill.

Yet that is not even the most terrifying part. Understanding how to READ the nervous system, in the future possibly even your direct thoughts will lead to understanding how to CONTROL your thoughts.

If you have any belief that this is not the goal of FB, I have no hope for you.

FB has been studying how to control you since it’s inception. But that’s true of the entire marketing industry. And the corporate “news” industry. You are being studied right now.

Most people are easily controlled. They see an ad somewhere and have to have the item. Or idea. News, TV shows, movies are just advertising for how they want you to think. The majority of the corporate media puppets in the audience never question anything, they just keep dancing on their strings.

FB has shown clearly that they have no respect for your personal privacy. They also have no respect for your opinion, your very thoughts, unless they agree with those thoughts and opinions. Otherwise, they have no conflict in deleting content, pages, profiles, groups. So, if they have no respect for your privacy, thoughts and opinions, why would they stop at literally controlling you? Do you seriously believe that the CIA would not be a part of this or that they are not already?

Genius Versus Idiot

The differences between a genius and an idiot-

Geniuses require evidence.

Idiots require belief.

Geniuses will change their opinion with evidence.

Idiots maintain their opinion in spite of evidence.

Geniuses will maintain their evidence-based opinion even if it is not popular.

Idiots will change their mind because they are TOLD a different idea is popular.

If a genius says, “I don’t know” it will be followed by “But I will find out.”

If an idiot says, “I don’t know”, that is the totality of their statement.

A genius RARELY says, “I don’t care.”

Idiots take pride in not caring.

Ukraine Is A Farce, Impeachment Is A Dangerous Distraction

Before even launching into a recap of current events, let me bring up one point. People screaming for impeachment also cry about “democracy”.

Impeachment has nothing to do with democracy. It is not a democratic process. It is not a legal process. It is a political process. Impeachment does not prove a crime. That’s not the purpose. If it proved a crime had been committed, why were neither Clinton nor Nixon convicted in a court of law and sentenced accordingly?

In other countries, when they have a democratic removal of an elected president, they hold a recall election. Such as what the UK recently had. A recall election is democratic, impeachment is not. Have you heard of any other country that holds impeachment proceedings? Have you noticed that this is happening during election season, when the DNC elite refused to endorse impeachment before now? Have you noticed nobody calling for impeachment has suggested a recall election?

One goal intended with the timing of this action is to allow potentially enough time for impeachment yet not enough time before the 2020 election for the GOP to offer up an alternative with time to campaign, while the DNC has progressed deep into their campaign season.

I have pointed out many times that calls for impeachment are a distraction. They are intended to whip up emotional responses, get people mindlessly crying for “anyone but Trump”, while paying absolutely no attention to what happens afterward, no attention to what the options are.

The first thing to consider regarding impeachment is the chain of succession. What that means is that if Trump were impeached, the person to assume the presidency would be Pence. Now, if you think Trump supporters would not vote for Pence in retaliation, you’re very wrong. He doesn’t have to have a history or platform they know a single thing about. He just has to be second in command in the administration which they previously voted for.

No, you cannot remove Pence without a completely separate impeachment proceeding which would have to begin after the proceedings on Trump. No, you cannot “remove them all at once”.

Get this in your head. Pence is worse than Trump.

The other distraction intended here is that the DNC is attempting to push forward their elite and oppress Progressive candidates, especially anti-war candidates like Tulsi Gabbard.

By pushing impeachment, the DNC hopes to divert attention and discussion from anything having to do with policies. Just as they did for three years with Russiagate, which they tried to continue all the way through 2020. That didn’t work out, so they tried initiating no less than SEVENTEEN “investigations” into the Mueller investigation which investigated the FBI investigation and never offered a single shred of verifiable evidence. Media coverage of those subsequent “investigations” has fallen silent because they can’t even come up with new allegations to distort enough to manipulate public sentiment. So they have to try something new.

Which brings us to Ukraine.

Did you notice that not long ago, Ukraine was supposed to be our ally against Russia? Of course, that was when they had a president who was a literal Nazi, installed after the CIA-assisted overthrow of the democratically elected president. The elected president was friendly toward Russia, the Nazi opposed Russia. The Nazi was democratically voted out by the people of Ukraine and a new president was elected who ran on a platform of restoring peaceful relations with Russia.

So, the Deep State can’t allow that to happen. There had to be some form of response making Ukraine our adversary once again, if they so much as attempt less than militaristic opposition to Russia while sacrificing many thousands of lives in the process. Peace anywhere in the world is bad for American MIC contractor profits.

So, what are the claims involved against Trump leading to this? What evidence is there? The evidence is that he called another elected president. The claim is that an unnamed, anonymous source offering no proof, claims that Trump tried to promote Ukrainian opposition to Joe Biden by their president.

This alone tells you what the DNC is attempting to do. They are trying to install Biden in 2020. The same Biden who has shown significant obvious signs of neurological decay. This is literally an attempt by the DNC to not only discredit Trump but to elevate Biden, who is a corporate warmonger with his own illustrated racist opinions. Such as “Poor children can achieve just as much as white children.” Or suggesting minority parents all need government social workers dictating their parenting skills in their own homes. That’s called social engineering. That’s called indoctrination. That’s called fascism.

Of special note is that the Ukrainian president has stated neutrality on the issue. He said he will strive for peaceful relations with the US, no matter who the US president is. While also striving for peaceful relations with Russia. Gasp!!! No, no, no, no,no!!!! He can’t do that!!!! NO country is allowed to do that!!!! Have peaceful relations with the United States AND Russia?!!!! How will the US progress the war agenda that way?!!!! If anyone is friends with Russia, that automatically makes them our ENEMY!!!!

There is no need for Ukraine to offer anything against Biden which has not been publicly know for years. Much of it is public record and cannot be denied. It is absolute fact that the elected president of Ukraine was overthrown. Most people globally suspect CIA involvement. This happened while Biden was VP. It is documented fact that Biden never met with the president who was overthrown, yet did meet with the installed Nazi president on VERY friendly terms. It is documented fact that Biden’s son made significant sums of money from an oil company in Ukraine under the Nazi (Poroshenko) regime. Now how many of these documented facts are going to be presented or discussed by corporate media? Don’t expect any of it to be presented as fact.

Of course, if the Democrats really want to pursue impeachment on this particular issue, go ahead. They will be cutting their own throats again. The anonymous source will not be allowed to remain anonymous. They will have to testify under oath. Then they have to prove Trump attempted to obtain information regarding Biden which is not already in the public record. Then they have to prove that the Ukrainian president has a bias in favor of Trump. Then they may have to prove Trump attempted to influence the Ukrainian president to become illegally involved in the next US election.

These proceedings will be taking place under a GOP majority Senate and even have to convince any Democrats who are even slightly objective.

Of course, what they hope to achieve is keeping another pseudo-Russiagate inquiry continuing throughout 2020, which will still be ongoing during the election. Which means they have no intention of beginning these proceedings until the middle of 2020. Until then, the Democrats will be using stalling tactics and introducing numerous other issues into the proceedings.

This also opens another can of worms which is especially concerning. Allegedly the “whistle blower” wants to testify directly to Congress. Legally, there is no difference between a whistle blower testifying willingly or being compelled to do so. So, what does this mean for the anonymity and protection of whistle blowers in the future? Put this in comparison to Edward Snowden, who also wanted to testify publicly. Put this in comparison to John Kiriakou, Chelsea Manning and Julian Assange. So, if this person testifies, should they be charged with crimes? If not, how do Democrats justify the indictment and ongoing legal assaults of these people, including double jeopardy for Manning?

You can’t have it both ways. Either whistle blowers are protected or they are not. YOU support whistle blowers or YOU do not. You cannot pick and choose. If you want corruption revealed, you want it revealed in ALL circumstances, under ALL administrations, by ALL government officials.

By all means, let’s keep talking about this but only insofar as it attacks Trump, all the way through 2020. Let’s NOT discuss ending wars, using diplomacy, universal healthcare, reducing medication costs, ending homelessness, ending poverty, actually increasing wages, taxing the rich, reinstating Glass-Steagall, immigration reform or any of the real issues confronting us. Just keep wailing and drowning those thoughts out of your mind. Stay tuned to corporate media and keep repeating, “I think for myself, I think for myself, I think for myself.”

More About False Employment Numbers

Have you noticed how you hear how many jobs were created each month? Yet we still have unemployment. Tens of thousands of jobs created each and every month, yet the unemployment rate does not go down. How does that work?

When job creation numbers are reported, what is not included is how many jobs have been eliminated.

Think about the announcements you hear. 30,000 jobs were created last month! Okay, that would mean that if that trend continued, we would create 360,000 jobs in one year. In less than 3 years, we would have created over 1 million jobs.

Let’s dive deeper. The population of the US is roughly 330 million. The Labor Participation Rate is 63.2%, meaning 208.6 million people are actively working or seeking employment. If the unemployment rate were true, standing now at 3.7%, that means about 7.7 million people are unemployed.

Here’s the problem with those numbers. They don’t change!!!!

In point of fact, according to the Labor Department, total non-farm employment increased by 130,000 in August alone. In June, they claimed that payrolls increased by 224,000. In July, 164,000. In May, 75,000. In April, 263,000. In March, 196,000.

So, according to the US Labor Dept, in six months time the US economy added over 1 million jobs. Yet the unemployment percentage hasn’t budged downward. If there were any accuracy to these numbers, the US would be in negative unemployment in less than 3 years.

Of course, the Labor Dept was reporting similar numbers last year. In October 2018, they claimed 250,000 had been added. In November, 155,000. In December, another 312,000.

Even if job growth were slower than expected, it would still be job growth. If the economy were truly adding hundreds of thousands of jobs per month, unemployment would not exist.

In addition, consider normal attrition. People retire, get sick or die. In such cases, they leave the job market entirely. Thus, replacing them means people from the applicant pool are hired. So that should be reducing the number of unemployed but it doesn’t. The birth rate has been decreasing over time, so it is well known there are fewer young people entering the job market than the number of Boomers leaving the job market.

Of course, I’ve mentioned before that many jobs are part time or temporary. To be considered “employed” can mean working 1 hour per week or less. If an employer takes a full time job and splits it in half to make two part time jobs, it’s magic! They just created a job!

If this many jobs were genuinely being created, real wages would also be rising. Real wages as defined by wages in relation to living expenses. They’re not, except in very limited areas. Wages would be growing because employers would be competing for workers. They’re not. In the limited geographic areas which have seen wage growth, prices soon increase, eliminating any benefit seen by workers. That’s because employers want to maintain higher than reasonable profit margins. That’s capitalism.

I expect that next month we will see a larger than average number of jobs added, thanks to auto manufacturers listing jobs available as they attempt to hire scabs to cross union picket lines. That’s an example of another falsehood. Just because a company posts jobs does not mean anyone was hired to do the jobs.

We really need to insist on different ways of measuring employment and unemployment. The system we have right now is completely dishonest.

YOU Just Spent $300 BILLION To Bail Out Wall Street.. And That Cost Just Started

This past week, the Federal reserve began pumping money into “the market” at a rate of $75 Billion PER DAY, for 4 days in a row.

They stated that they will continue doing this for three weeks straight, at a maximum rate of up to $75 Billion per day, every day.

So, 4 days at $75 billion per day adds up to $300 billion. If they pump the maximum amount stated of $75 billion per day, 5 days a week, the grand total potential damage will be $1,050,000,000,000.00. Yes, that is accurate. $1 TRILLION plus $50 billion.

Keep in mind that when the Federal Reserve speaks of helping “the market”, what they are referring to is the stock market. It has absolutely nothing to do with the consumer market, the residential housing market or anything that has anything to do with the typical American. It pays no worker salary, no rent, provides no food to any American that needs it, provides no medical care, subsidizes no life saving medication.

This money simply does not exist before the Fed magically “creates” it for the sole purpose of handing it out freely to shore up a failing stock market. All of this is coming after a massive tax cut that corporations used to repurchase their own stock for the benefit of corporate executives and major investors. It comes after a $38 billion bailout of corporate farmers, which did nothing to reduce food prices for citizens. THAT came after an $18 billion bailout of the same corporate farmers in 2018. It comes after JP Morgan was revealed to have been hoarding gold and an estimated 50% of the global silver market for the purpose of manipulating the international precious metals market. It comes after multiple investment advisers and wealth managers (including JP Morgan) have advised their wealthiest customers to divest from the dollar, invest in foreign currencies and precious metals, especially gold.

Ford has laid off tens of thousands of workers in the past year. GM laid off tens of thousands more. GE laid off tens of thousands more. We have retail closures at a rate higher than any year in US history. Record numbers of federal student loan defaults. Manufacturing is down globally. Transportation of goods is down globally. Bloomberg reported that the economy had lost 600,000 jobs between December 2018 and May 2019. UAW are on strike, while GM canceled thousands of workers health insurance, after posting a profit of $8.1 billion in 2018.

Now, try and imagine what the economy would look like if the same $1 Trillion were provided to workers, to consumers. That money would be enough to hand $50,000 EACH to a total of 20 MILLION workers. Or $25,000 each to 40 million workers. In other words, it would prevent sickness or death, eviction/foreclosure, pay for education, pay off student loans, provide transportation.

So, what has the effect of this cash giveaway to the rich been so far? On Thur and Fri this week, the DOW dropped by a total of 212 points, for a total drop during one week of 285 points.

Why is this happening? Because corporate liquid assets have run dry. Something I have been warning about since 2017. Corporations used all their money to buy back stocks and drive stock prices higher, while outside investors have largely pulled their money out of the stock market, even before the warnings of JP Morgan and the like. With no more cash on hand, the corporations have nothing left to prop up the market.

Remember that the stocks most propping up the stock market are of companies that produce basically nothing. The FAANG stocks- Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Google. The value of stocks is measured in the fiat dollar, of which the value is measured based on resources not owned by this country, with more dollars being printed by a private bank out of thin air, valued on uncertain future repayment by the companies that produce nothing.

I have been predicting for years that these events would occur in exactly this sequence. This is the final step before the cliff. There is absolutely nowhere else to go. The Fed can discuss dropping interest rates into the negative all they like. It will do no good. We are now at the edge of a Fukushima-level economic event and there is no turning back. This crash has been formulating for decades but was absolutely certain in June of 2018, when the Federal Reserve raised the core interest rate. That was the sign it could not be averted. Stocks immediately dropped that very same day.

At this point there is literally no value in investors or corporations spending money on capital investments to maintain or create jobs, to increase production or anything else. The dollar can no longer be propped up, no matter how many wars we wage or threaten. Consumers have no more money which will fund even a continuation, let alone an expansion of the current system.

The next step will be that the last investors and corporations will begin selling off stocks in a mushroom cloud, each investor and executive trying to sell off as much as possible to cash in while the stocks are at high numbers. Convert to cash, deposit the funds in offshore accounts as they board their private jets out of the country. Smaller investors not sitting directly in front of their computers as day traders will lose basically everything, far worse than 2018 or 1929.

I will offer one single disclaimer to this. If you read over my previous economic writing, the only times I have ever been proven incorrect is when I included an estimated timeline. I have never been incorrect regarding events themselves. So you will notice that I am not including a timeline in this post. The reason I have been incorrect on time frame has been because I literally underestimated the absolute depth of corruption. This crash is definitely at our doorstep, right here, right now. So it is only a matter of time, which will not be long.

The only thing which could potentially stave it off momentarily would be an actual war. Not military intervention, actual war declared by Congress. yet even that will not save the economy and would ultimately lead to the collapse being worse than we currently face.

Will Vaping More Keep Us Safer?

So we are now facing a ban on vaping products. Why? Six people have died as a result of vaping. 450 people have permanent lung damage because of vaping.

At least that’s the claim. Don’t get me wrong. I think more research needs to be done on vaping products and ingredients. The flavors and scents used in vaping liquids have not been evaluated for heating and inhalation. It’s unlikely the standard plain or menthol kind are a problem. Other artificial ingredients seem like more of an issue.

Comparison. Now, let’s take a look at something else. Firearms. Especially assault weapons.

Assault weapons have been used in virtually every mass shooting in the US for years. Six people dead is a low number for larger mass shootings. 450 people with permanent physical injuries? We see more than that from guns in a single month. Permanent emotional injuries? More than 450 in a week, possibly more than that from a single event.

So, while a product that has been on the market for over a decade with little or no negative effects documented other than fanatical anti-tobacco pages, suddenly we have a rash of reports “confirmed” of deaths and lung damage. At the same time, devices designed for the express purpose of murdering large numbers of living creatures in a short period of time go virtually unrestricted. The unconfirmed instances spark outrage while millions of Americans scream mindlessly about retaining the right to own implements of death.

How many “thoughts and prayers” have we heard directed toward victims of mass shootings? How well has that worked?

Limiting access to firearms has shown tremendous success in other countries. While in America, we hear how “More guns will keep us safer.” Just like taking more poison will save you from being poisoned, more cancer will cure your cancer, slamming your head against a brick wall will fix your brain damage.

In 2017, at least 39,773 people died from gunshot wounds, the highest number in 20 years. Some sources claim that number decreased in 2018. Great. Decreased from the highest level in two decades. This number represents 12 deaths per 100,000 people. Keep in mind, these are the numbers we know about. Some people may have gone missing or died at a later date due to complications such as infection or permanent organ damage caused by gunshot wounds. I will also point out that firearms can cause significant permanent lung damage. In Canada, the rate is 2.1 deaths per 100,000 due to firearms, in Germany it is 0.3 deaths, in Japan it is 0.2 deaths.

In spite of anecdotal claims, the highest percentage of deaths by firearms in the US remains in states with the highest rate of gun ownership and loosest gun laws. So, when do we reach the point where we are safer?

The research on firearms has been done. We have personally been lab rats in that research our entire lives. Comparisons to other countries or even specific regions of this country paint a very clear picture.

However, when we compare actions taken by our government regarding vaping versus firearms, there is a massive discrepancy. Most Americans are in strong favor of stricter gun laws including a complete ban on assault weapons and high capacity magazines. I don’t recall hearing anyone calling for a ban on vaping products.

Or maybe vaping more will keep us safer?

Failure of US Weapons in Saudi Arabia

The US government is reporting that the recent attack on the Saudi oil refinery was due to a missile launched from inside Iran.

Yemen is claiming that the attack was conducted by them utilizing 10 drones.

Here’s the biggest problem with all the claims. No matter which way you view it, this indicates an absolute failure of US weapons sold to Saudi Arabia.

If the attack was conducted by drone, it’s somewhat more understandable, as drones can fly much lower than missiles. The distance would also be far shorter from Yemen to the refinery. However, there was still quite some distance for them to travel and there were ten of them. For an effective defensive weapons system, they should have been detected at some point and defended against.

If the attack was a missile from Iran, then the picture worsens greatly. A missile launched from Iran to the refinery would have had to travel at least 300 miles before reaching the target.

Nowhere have we seen/heard reports that any defense was mounted, let alone successful at bringing down any offensive weaponry. So the attack came as a complete surprise with no prior detection. The US State Dept is now claiming that the missile was detected by US satellite. However, the defensive weapons systems being sold to other countries allegedly link to satellite systems to make them more effective.

Make no mistake about it, the countries to whom the US sells weapons at costs of billions of dollars per year to them are watching this. They do not like what they see. They are now realizing how ineffective US weaponry truly is, leaving them largely defenseless. Offensive weapons are somewhat effective, yet the Patriot missile system and F35 fighter jet are plagued with problems. The Osprey has seen numerous catastrophic failures and requires massive amounts of maintenance, costing far more than it should for repairs.

The only advantage US weapons have in battle conditions is by sheer number. So, if a country is going to rely on number of weapons deployed, wouldn’t they buy less expensive weaponry in an effort to field as many weapons as possible?

Absolute numbers of weapons are a truly poor choice in either offensive or defensive tactics. If one accurate weapon can maneuver past or defeat ten inaccurate weapons, that is far more effective. This can be compared to a boxer throwing wild punches blindly, never landing a blow competing against an opponent who throws one or two targeted punches and knocking the wild boxer unconscious.

If a weapon fails to even detect a threat and respond, you may as well not have any weapons at all. This makes US weapons a bad deal for purchasing countries.

One reason other countries purchase US weapons is because they are subsidized, making them seem like a good deal. The more failures our weapons demonstrate, the worse that deal becomes, even if obtained for “free”. (Just pay shipping and handling!)

I have explained in previous articles that US weapons are sold to other countries at a net loss, even as they are portrayed as profitable. We give tens of billions of dollars a year in “aid” to other countries. Many times, those countries use a portion of that money to purchase weapons from US companies. As an example, we give $3.8 billion per year to Israel. Maybe they buy $2 billion a year in weapons. That’s already a net loss. However, when they receive the money, they receive it from the US government, in other words, the taxpayer. When they purchase the weapons, they purchase from a private US corporation. The country loses money, the corporation profits. Then the corporation is given tax breaks. Then the corporation gets paid for US military contracts. Then the weapons sold are transported by US military transport, with US military security escort. Every step of this process is a subsidy to corporate contractors which we pay for. Not to mention the fact that oil purchases from Saudi Arabia also serves as a war subsidy all by itself.

For weapons that fail.

Yes, we have the largest military budget in the world. Yes, we have forces in more locations than any other country. Yes, we once had the most advanced military technology but that is no longer true. Other countries have developed more effective, more accurate military technologies at lower cost as a direct result of the threat posed to them by the US. Now they are selling their weapons at lower cost to even more countries in competition with the US, while maintaining a faster delivery time. Meanwhile they are not incurring massive debt in the process.

Even less advanced weaponry has proven effective against US weaponry. IED’s and homemade RPG’s have been highly effective against US weapons in the Middle East, drones have been taken down by hand held weapons. While we remain engaged in conflicts we are repeatedly told would last only weeks, still going on 18 years later.

And we have not confronted an adversary with the capabilities and experience that Iran has.

These recent events, combined with the knowledge gained from observation of US conflicts are going to be influencing the future purchase of US weapons by other countries. Even the subsidies may prove to be ineffective in placing any trust in the capabilities of our technology. They are fully aware that our technology is so insufficient that we must also commit human ground forces. Yet our forces are growing weary and thin while our citizens are objecting to our involvement in conflicts that have nothing to do with us. We are objecting to the cost on all levels, especially monetarily and emotionally.

The time for diplomacy is now. Stop the arms sales. Stop the warmonger rhetoric. Stop the subsidies. Sit down and start talking. Openly, publicly. Find solutions that do not include destruction and killing.
